Who said that money making cannot be fun?

At last, I have decided to give it a go. Since many people seem to be making loads of money with internet marketing and blogging, then perhaps I should give it a try or rather verify that all that they are saying is true.

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Edgar Boutaric and I am quite new in the field of blogging and internet marketing. However, I am not a total beginner on the web as I currently operate two dozens of MFA sites and I make money with them (not quite enough to live, but a nice complement). As a consequence, I have acquired a decent knowledge of SEO.

For the last couple years, I have also read many e-books and courses on the subject of making money on the net and I have decided to experiment various techniques by myself (such as article marketing).

The only thing that I want to make sure is that all my money-making techniques are fun and do not require too much repetitive work, or if they do, that this work can be automated easily. I have never been in favor of working without fun as I think that people should work smart not hard.

On this blog, I will report my progress and also, I’ll give some feedback on what I have learnt throughout the process.

There is no reason that this blog itself should not be making money.  So promoting this blog and making money with it will be my first experiment. Here is my road map:

-          Write at least 2 articles per week. You certainly have guessed that this blog is not for search engines, but primarily for humans with the best possible content I can produce.

-          I do not plan to have a mailing list per say, but I’ll encourage visitors to subscribe to blog updates by giving away valuable free information.

-          During the first month or so, I need to find or create three products that I can sell (they could be affiliate products). I have no intention to have ads, at least not in the MFA sense.

-

SEO promotion plan

-          I will be submitting one article per week using Artemis

-          I will also submit the blog to about 500 directories. At 10$, it is worthwhile, even if I do not expect miracles from this submission.

-          I plan to do link exchanges using Axandra or similar — probably 100-200 and only with relevant sites

-          I will use Kahuna network as well as my own content network to get additonal links to this blog.

Some tools I plan to use:

The blog has been created with Semiologic. This package is based on wordpress but it offers the best collection of bug-free plugins and it eliminates the nightmare of updating your site at each new wordpress release.

I will use glyphius as much as possible to optimize blog titles and to write my sales pages.  Finally, I’ll use Artemis pro to submit unique versions of articles to various magazines and blogs.

In the upcoming posts, I will provide more reviews and feedbacks on each of these tools.

So please check back regularly to learn how to make money with fun and also the newest tools and software that can contribute to this objective.
